We are looking for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to be the face of our space and provide outstanding support to our members and visitors.

Role Overview

As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all guests and members. Your role is to create a warm, organized, and professional environment by assisting with daily operations, managing front desk duties, and ensuring that all members receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, members, and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude

  • Manage the front desk, including answering calls, emails, and walk in enquiries

  • Assist members with workspace needs, bookings, and general support

  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area and common spaces

  • Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared for use

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and parcels

  • Support the operations team with administrative tasks

  • Maintain accurate records, sign in logs, and access control

  • Assist with onboarding new members and explaining WorkWiser’s facilities

  • Help coordinate events, workshops, or community activities when needed

  • Report maintenance issues to the operations team

  • Uphold the WorkWiser culture by creating a welcoming community feel

Requirements

  • Must be based in Somerset West or within the Helderberg area

  • Previous experience in reception, front desk, or customer service is preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional appearance and a positive, friendly demeanor

  • Ability to multitask, stay organised, and manage time well

  • Comfortable using email, calendars, and basic office software

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

  • A customer focused mindset with a desire to help others

  • Experience in a co working space environment is an advantage but not required
